Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) is seeking a skilled Patient Access Specialist III to deliver exceptional patient experiences while ensuring seamless access to healthcare services.

• Be the Friendly First Point of Contact:
  Greet patients, physicians, and staff with professionalism and empathy, whether in person or on the phone.
• Master Healthcare Scheduling:
  Efficiently manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and telehealth visits using EHR scheduling systems.
• Ensure Accuracy:
  Maintain meticulous attention to detail when entering and verifying patient demographics, insurance information, and payment details.
• Stay Calm Under Pressure:
  Handle emergencies and difficult situations with tact, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Collaborate Effectively:
  Work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a smooth and efficient healthcare experience.

• A service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in EHR scheduling and call management software.
• Strong multitasking abilities to manage phone calls, in-person interactions, and scheduling needs simultaneously.
• Knowledge of telehealth applications and ancillary services is a plus!
• Education and/or
  
  Experience:
  
  High school degree, plus a minimum of three years of responsible business experience, preferably in a public relations, healthcare setting, or other professional setting.
