This is a 13-week contract position.

The hours of work are , four days per week from Tuesday to Friday, plus equitable call including weekdays and weekends.

We are seeking a Scrub Tech with orthopedic experience to assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical competence in surgical technical skills, sterile processing, endoscopy, and materials management departments.

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff in the performance of surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with all members of the surgical team for the benefit of the patient.
• Demonstrate a superior sterile conscience and maintain sterile technique.
• Communicate any breaks in technique to the circulating RN and surgeons.
• Ensure all necessary equipment is in the room prior to the start of the case.
• Operate all electro-surgical, diagnostic, video equipment, and specialty area equipment safely.

• Must have current CPR certification.
• Certification as an OR Surgical Technician is required.
• Orthopedic experience is a must.
