Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing, mixing, assembling, and packaging medications.
- Ensure accurate labeling and proper documentation of all drugs and devices.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy storage and safety regulations.
- Organize and update records to ensure proper tracking of medications.
- Support daily operations to improve efficiency and patient care.
- Must demonstrate a high level of detail orientation.
- Solid ability to handle highly confidential, sensitive information. Position requires a high level of professionalism, tact, discretion, and integrity.
- Must have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities; demonstrate resourcefulness and good problem‑solving skills.
Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. Previous customer service experience is required.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsA certification or provisional certification from the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy is required. The provisional certification allows 18 months for the Pharmacy Technician to obtain certification by a board‑approved, nationally‑recognized organization that certifies pharmacy technicians.
