We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Billing Specialist II, responsible for accurate and timely billing, claims follow-up, and resolution of unpaid insurance accounts, while maintaining full compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the billing process for the hospital, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims.
  • Perform claims follow-up with insurance companies and patients to resolve unpaid accounts.
  • Maintain full compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve billing issues.
  • Support month-end close activities related to billing and accounts receivable.
Qualifications
  • Two years of previous hospital/UB billing and follow-up experience required.
  • Previous experience billing for a Critical Access Hospital is preferred.
