Tax Manager

Innovar Group is seeking a Tax Manager for a growing organization located in the Broomfield, Colorado area. This role will be responsible for managing corporate tax activities while also helping improve internal tax processes and procedures. Approximately 60% of the role will be hands‑on tax work including filings and compliance, with the remaining 40% focused on improving tax processes, systems, and efficiencies during slower periods.

The organization currently partners with BDO, who will assist in training and supporting this individual as they ramp up in the role.

Job Title: Tax Manager

Location: Broomfield, CO (Onsite)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

• Prepare and manage corporate tax filings and compliance activities
• Support tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions including the United States, Canada, and New Zealand
• Partner with BDO on tax compliance, reporting, and advisory support
• Assist with corporate income tax and multi‑state sales and use tax compliance
• Support ASC 740 tax provision processes
• Review tax documentation, filings, and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, procedures, and internal controls
• Develop and implement improvements to tax workflows and documentation during slower tax cycles
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure tax compliance across the organization

• 4–8+ years of progressive tax experience
• Experience with corporate income tax and multi‑state sales and use tax
• Familiarity with ASC 740 tax provisions
• Experience in public accounting, industry, or a combination of both
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tax priorities
• Ability to work onsite in the Broomfield, CO area

• CPA or Master’s in Tax preferred (open to CPA candidates)
• Experience supporting tax activities across multiple countries such as the U.S., Canada, or New Zealand
• Candidates at the Senior Tax Analyst level who are ready to step into a manager role are encouraged to apply
