Overview

VIP Hospitality Host can earn up to an additional $2K quarterly with Performance Based Bonus. Generate a customer awareness of the 24KT Club member program as well as any upcoming special events, promotions, and specifically VIP events. Builds close relationships with VIP and hosted-level customers through personal contact by phone and in-person with the goal of generating additional and profitable gaming revenues.

Meet and greet customers at the Casino Host desk, on the casino floor, the hotel front desk, at special events and during promotions. Candidates must possess a truly exceptional and unwavering commitment to providing the best possible customer experience for our best casino guests.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing the Hospitality Hosts will coordinate coding of players to casino hosts per established business rules to ensure that host team is focused on assigned players. Additionally, the Hospitality Hosts will assist Player Development team in coordinating and executing special events for VIP players, maintaining a knowledge of all special events and promotions. The Hospitality Hosts will also assist with player transportation, hotel booking and amenity requests as assigned.

Hospitality Hosts will assist with off-property events. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented, highly motivated, ability to execute and develop quality work as necessary with the highest standards and attention to detail throughout all phases of a project. Collaboration, organization and time management skills are key to success in this position.

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, utilizing skills to collaborate and strengthen the entire process.
  • Consistently deliver a positive, courteous and professional guest service experience in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
  • Promote positive public/employee relations at all times, with an emphasis on increasing play and profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Pit managers & supervisors, Slot managers & supervisors, hotel operations and any relevant support staff so that they may be effective and servicing and identifying VIP or Host-Level players.
  • Coordinate and support execution of on and off property VIP events as requested.
  • Maintain knowledge of VIP events, ensuring communication of events across Player Development team.
  • Master knowledge of all gaming machines, table games, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.
  • Must be energetic, friendly, sharp and professional at all times.
  • Assist host team as needed with requests for hotel, amenities, transportation for guests.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Safeguard the confidential information of all employees, department and company records.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One (1) to three (3) years of professional experience in customer service role.
  • Proficiency with MS computer programs, and comfort learning new programs.
  • Prior casino experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Ballys CMP preferred.
  • Must have a Colorado Support Gaming License.
