We are seeking an Advanced ASIC Test Engineer for our Broomfield, CO location to join the team developing our Apollo & Lumos quantum computers (Quantinuum system roadmap). The ideal candidate will be a mid-career Electrical engineer with a background in electrical requirement validation/testing & cryogenic systems. This role will work alongside ASIC developers, Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and physicists to develop, characterize, & validate ASICs on our Quantum computers.

This role will be instrumental in demonstrating critical technologies for our system. Candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced, multi-functional, team-based, and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.

• Work with an integrated product team to implement and validate ASICs in service of Quantinuum's quantum computer roadmap and goals.
• Develop electrical interfaces and test equipment to interface with cryogenic test chambers.
• Develop scripts to automate the operation of test equipment & analysis of data
• Manage operation & test execution of cryogenic testing in labs
• Translate quantum computer requirements and customer needs into a verifiable test plans to execute in our labs.
• Work in an R&D and rapid prototyping environment

• Bachelor s Degree Minimum
• 4+ years of experience in an engineering or R&D environment
• 3+ years developing test equipment and executing test plans to validate & characterize digital and analog circuits in a lab environment
• 2+ years of experience working with cryogenic test chambers
• Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.
• Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People s Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.

• Master s/PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of industry experience in an engineering or R&D environment
• Hands-on experience testing low-noise analog electronics
• Understanding of EMI/EMC and grounding/return currents' impact on sensitive electronics
• Experience with ASIC development and testing
• Strong background with Python
• Experience with the electrical engineering challenges of Quantum Computers or ion-traps
• Strong communication skills and "right size" design documentation

Compensation & Benefits: Non-Incentive Eligible The pay range for this role is $113,000 $ 141,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
