We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead engineering and construction projects across heavy industrial, mining, and material-handling environments. This individual will oversee full project life cycle activities—from concept and design through bidding, construction, inspection, and completion—ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and proven success managing complex industrial projects.
What You’ll Do
Manage Lead full project management efforts for engineering and construction projects. Identify opportunities, problems, and potential solutions; develop estimates, schedules, resource plans, and work breakdown structures. Manage project costs and timelines, adjusting plans proactively to ensure success. Oversee vendor and supplier contracts, assign tasks, and communicate deliverables. Coordinate detailed construction management and project execution activities. Design Use AutoCAD to create engineering drawings, layouts, and design packages.
Collaborate with internal and external mechanical/civil designers to produce high-quality designs. Inspect Provide onsite field oversight and inspection during construction phases. Conduct post-project evaluations ensuring objectives, performance improvements, and ROI targets are met. Prepare Bid Packages Develop comprehensive bid packages for construction projects. Manage and evaluate construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle. Provide Updates Deliver regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress, risks, strategy shifts, and key milestones.
Represent the Company Serve as a professional representative in interactions with industry groups, government entities, and regulatory agencies. Additional Responsibilities Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational and project needs. Skills You’ll Need
Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Experience 8+ years of project management and engineering experience within heavy industrial or mining environments. Proven track record managing end-to-end project life cycles.
Experience with crushing, screening, material handling, and solid–liquid separation systems. PMP certification preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, engineering tools, and best practices. Leadership Skills Decisive, collaborative leader who supports company mission, vision, and values. Empowers teams while holding them accountable. Brings innovative, non-traditional approaches to solving complex problems. Organizational Skills Able to define clear goals, priorities, and action plans aligned with broader strategic objectives.

Analytical Skills Verifies assumptions with data, observation, and credible sources. Strong capability to analyze cost, performance, and operational impacts. Computer Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheets. Skilled with AutoCAD, Autodesk tools, and virtual collaboration platforms (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet).
Experience with Agg Flow or similar process flow simulation programs preferred. Interpersonal Communication Clear, consistent communicator with strong listening skills and resourcefulness.
