LAPAM (Latin America, Asia Pacific & Middle East – Africa) region within Manitou Group aims at improving working conditions, safety and performance across the whole region, while protecting people and their environment.

The purpose of this position is to revolutionize the production environment by pioneering intelligent, flexible, and sustainable manufacturing technologies that slash time-to-market for new innovations, eliminate human error through advanced automation
, and create capabilities of building the next generation of electrified and autonomous machinery.

• Project Management, Capital Budget Planning , New Product Introduction, Industrial Engineering, Process Management, Capacity Planning, Layout Planning, Procurement, Safety & Ergonomics , Interpersonal Communication and development of Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Define manufacturing strategies aligned with business growth, product mix, and volume requirements for products.
• Cap Ex Planning:
  Managing the Capital Expenditure budget to acquire new machinery, robotics, and automation technologies.
• Capacity Generation:
  Scaling production capabilities to meet market demand without compromising quality or safety.
• Lead manufacturing engineering activities for new model launches, variants, and upgrades.
• Tooling Management, Preparing cost analyses and estimated production costs.
• Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
• Training staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
• Trial & Prove Out of all facilities and Painting Quality result achieving as per Technical standards. Painting & Material handling process sheets preparation. Time study of the painting process and related activities.
• Manage the Manpower, CAPEX and OPEX Budget for the ME Function.
• Compliance to ISO 9001, 45001 & 14001:
  Ensure ISO systems from Advanced Manufacturing Engineering perspective.

• B.Tech / Any other related diploma with minimum 15 year’s experience in manufacturing/Industrial engineering for passenger vehicle/ commercial vehicles, Earthmoving Equipment, Tractor, Agri Equipments OEM companies
• Technology Scouting, CAPEX Management, NPI (New Product Introduction), Sustainability Led Initiatives
• Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies. Providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done.
• Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with enthusiasm challenging self & others positively to achieve results.
