As an Environmental Department Manager, you strive to lead both your team and your profits. You are comfortable in the field in steel-toed boots as well as in high-level meetings. Environmental geologists, engineers, and project managers look to you for mentoring technically and in building client relationships. You know how to set the bar high and bring others along with you.

- Manage the department for continued growth with a strong emphasis on business development and marketing initiatives
- Lead and mentor a team of environmental technicians and project managers (supervise at least 2 full-time employees)
- Oversee environmental services projects and report reviews
- Prepare proposals for environmental services
- Manage departmental P&L and assist senior staff in marketing by maintaining and developing client interactions
- Supervise employees and daily management of the department as a primary duty
- Assist with report preparation and project management duties as needed by the department
- BS in Geology or a discipline related to Environmental Science; MS preferred
- 5–10 years of Geology, Environmental Engineering or related experience
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) license would be advantageous
