Position Type: Full-time, 169 days per year
Location: Harrison K-8
Salary: Pay for this position is determined by the 169-day Teacher Salary Schedule and is based on education and experience. Salary Range $45,186-$77,720.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- Valid Colorado Teaching License with Secondary Mathematics endorsement or the ability to obtain
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
- Ability to employ a variety of instructional techniques and strategies
- Desire to incorporate a hands‑on learning approach with traditional curriculum
- Promote learning skills of critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity
- Ability to create a positive learning environment for elementary‑aged children
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with classroom teachers to facilitate/coordinate scheduling of classes and conferences with parents
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must pass pre‑employment physical
- Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students, and the public
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of student developmental stages
- Ability to communicate with multiple publics
- Resilience and flexibility in the face of change
- Ability to read and write in order to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities.
- Possess skills to be able to utilize basic technology as directed by the District to communicate and function effectively.
