Salary:- 1-Year Colorado Substitute Authorization License – Full-Day Long Term Rate: $155.00
- 3-Year and 5-year Colorado Substitute Authorization – Full-Day Long Term Rate: $165.00 a day
A one-year substitute authorization requires you to hold a high school diploma or its equivalent and have a fingerprint-based history on file with CDE.
A 3-year substitute authorization requires you to hold an earned bachelor's or higher degree from an accepted, regionally accredited college or university and have a fingerprint-based history on file with CDE.

Purpose:This position is to serve as a floating sub for Lincoln School of Science and Technology. Only on an emergency basis would this position be asked to sub in another building. Resident sub would also be a sub for the nurse, so this position can be delegated for health needs that teachers cannot be delegated for.
Qualifications and Skills:- Must have a Sub Authorization License or Teaching License from CDE

- Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
- Preference will be given to those seeking to become teachers.
- Positive individual with neat, clean appearance; pleasant, courteous demeanor.
- Ability to ask questions and work with a team.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in order to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities.
- Possess skills to be able to utilize basic technology as directed by the District to communicate and function effectively as an employee.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students, and the public.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to be flexible throughout the workday.
- Ability to drive if needed at another school during urgently needed support.
- Must have health tech training to serve in the role of health tech at the school.
- Follows the lesson plans left by the absent educator.
- Manages the classroom and keeps students safe.
- Follow the directions on which classroom to support each day.
- Follows guidelines as shared in the Substitute Handbook.
- Follow school expectations.
- Models District Core Beliefs throughout the day.
- Duties may include, but are not limited to, working in small groups or large groups.
- Supervises students during inside and outside duties.
- May be required to work in other buildings in the event of an emergency at another school.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the principal or supervisor.
