High School Librarian

Holy Family High School is seeking an innovative, experienced, and mission-driven Part Time High School Librarian for the  academic year. The librarian supports student learning and faculty instruction by curating and managing a dynamic library program that promotes information literacy, research skills, ethical use of artificial intelligence, and a lifelong love of reading, all in alignment with Holy Family's Catholic mission.

The successful candidate will oversee the development and maintenance of a library collection that supports the curriculum and the diverse needs of students and faculty, while demonstrating strong organizational, instructional, and administrative skills.

• Managing and developing a library collection that supports curriculum, research, and information literacy
• Teaching and supporting students in research skills, information evaluation, and ethical AI use
• Collaborating with faculty to integrate library resources into classroom instruction
• Overseeing library operations, including budgeting, inventory, and resource management
• Pursuing funding opportunities through grants and other initiatives
• Maintaining a welcoming, organized, and academically purposeful library environment

• Bachelor's degree in English or a related field required
• Master's degree or higher preferred
• Preference given to practicing Catholics
• Secondary-level teaching experience preferred

• Expertise in curriculum and literacy support
• Proficiency in research-related skills, database management, presentation tools
• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
