Job DescriptionFremont RE-2 School District Elementary Classroom Teachers demonstrate and continually develop pedagogical expertise, particularly in literacy and mathematics, while maintaining working knowledge across all core content areas. Teachers establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that supports a diverse population of students. They plan, prepare, and deliver effective, standards-based instruction designed to meet the academic and social-emotional needs of all learners.
Teachers contribute to a positive school culture and uphold district policies and procedures while supporting student achievement and growth.
- Valid Colorado Teaching License
- Meet quality standards for Intermediate Education
- Strong background in Intermediate Education
- Preference given to candidates with successful classroom experience
- Knowledge of Infinite Campus and District systems
- Understanding of Colorado state assessment and accountability requirements
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Successful completion of all mandated criminal background screenings and fingerprinting
- Design and implement engaging lessons aligned to Colorado Academic Standards
- Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional decisions
- Provide timely, meaningful feedback to students
- Maintain accurate records using district data systems
- Foster strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with grade-level teams, intervention staff, and administration
- Demonstrate professionalism through ethical conduct, reflective practice, and leadership
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement efforts
- 161-day contract
- 8.5-hour workday
- 4-day school week
- Salary according to District Approved Certified Teacher Salary Schedule
- Up to twenty (20) years of verified experience accepted
- District contribution toward benefit package valued at $4,944 annually, including Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
- Leave days in accordance with District Policy
