SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

Board approved  Subsitute Salary Schedule

Qualifications:

* Colorado Teaching License or Substitute Teaching Authorization from CDE

* First Aid and CPR Certificate

* Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and administration
* " Clear" background check through submission of fingerprint card to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation,and Background Information Services.

Responsibilities:

* Instruction in a classroom setting based upon approved curriculum.

* Assess student needs, progress and achievement: diagnose and remedy weaknesses.

* Exhibit excellent classroom management skills that enhance learning, maintain sound control over student behavior and effecticely manage transitions from one activty to another.

* Use effective instructional strategies using appropriate teaching materials.

* Other duties as assigned by the Principal.

* Follow sub plans left by teacher.
