Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

We are seeking a passionate energetic LPN or RN to work with a student who requires 1:1 support in the school environment and classroom. This position requires a licensed nurse who is familiar with tracheostomy care, G-tube and enteral feedings, and has solid assessment skills. Salary: $216/day

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• High School diploma.
• Maintain a valid Colorado driver’s license.
• Submit fingerprints for a criminal background check.

• Medical background with LPN certification.
• Experience:
  
  Nursing 1 year on Pediatrics.

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Licensed Practical Nurse

• Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications (e.g., Power School, Word, Excel, Google).

• Knowledge of and deep belief in inclusion in the general education classroom for all students, including those on an IEP and/or learning English.
• Dedication to high standards of excellence and the success of all students; ability to personalize instruction for students so that all are challenged to learn.
• Data-driven evidence of closing the achievement gap and deep knowledge of instructional practices that will do so.
• Technologically literate and motivated to use technology to enhance learning.
• Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copy and fax machines, and telephone.

Per the Bayfield School District Health Assistant & Licensed Nurse Salary Schedule based on education and years of experience.
