SalaryPay based on the 169‑day Teacher Salary Schedule and education/experience. Range $45,186–$77,720.

Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Valid Colorado Teaching License, Elementary Education, or PreK‑2 endorsement.
- Teachers of Record or Residency Teachers are eligible to apply.
- K‑3 Teacher Evidence‑Based Reading Training Requirement or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment.
- Strong knowledge of literacy development, instructional programs and practices, and assessment.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment for elementary‑aged children.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Must pass a pre‑employment physical.
- Ability to read and write to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities.
- Possess skills to utilize basic technology as directed by the District to communicate and function effectively.
- Integrity, trust, and work ethic are required to work with little supervision.
- Implements appropriate physical and technical safeguards to protect district data's confidentiality, integrity and availability.
- Maintains good security practices with passwords and accounts to the various district systems and applications.
- Reports actual or suspected breaches in the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of district data to appropriate district personnel.
- Follows all board policies for acceptable use of district technology.
- Model the District's Mission and Belief Statements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Teachers are held to high expectations for performance to ensure success for the District and students. Teachers demonstrate mastery of content and pedagogical expertise, establish inclusive and respectful learning environments, plan and deliver effective instruction, and demonstrate professionalism through ethical conduct, reflection, and leadership. The State’s Quality Standards provide performance indicators for teacher effectiveness.
