School Year:
Location: Roaring Fork High School
Reports to: Roaring Fork High School Principal
Classification: Certified Exempt - Full-Time (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week)
Contract Period: 185 + 10 additional working days / 1 year position for the school year
Salary Range- $54,000 to $82,320 (Based on education and years of relevant experience) Certified Salary Schedule, the annual salary listed above is based on a full-time, 8-hour workday (FTE
1) and a full working calendar. For positions with less than a full FTE or reduced hours, such as part-time or late-start positions, the salary will be prorated accordingly. - Credentialed teaching experience outside the District or U.S. may be considered in salary placement. - The Dean of Culture plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and productive school environment. The Dean of Culture works closely with faculty, administrators, students, and families to foster a supportive and engaging environment that enhances student success both academically and socially.
Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- MUST have an active Colorado License or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment. If additional coursework or a preparation program is required, the applicant must provide proof of enrollment and submission of the required documentation to the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) within 30 days of employment.
Job Duties
- A minimum of seven years experience working in public education, preferably at the secondary level.
- A strong background in student behavior management, school culture initiatives, or social‑emotional learning. Leadership or administrative experience is highly desirable.
- Preferred experience applying Restorative Practices within educational environments.
- Preference for conversational or higher‑level Spanish fluency.
- Develop and implement strategies to cultivate a positive and inclusive school culture where students feel safe, valued, and motivated.
- Establish and enforce behavioral expectations and school norms, ensuring they align with the values of respect, responsibility, and community.
- Create programs and initiatives that promote social‑emotional learning (SEL) and student well‑being.
