Physician - Urgent Care

Overview

The Academic Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine, at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a physician with a passion for urgent care to join their team!

• Join a thriving group of 37 physicians and 17 Advanced Practice Providers
• Practice in an urgent care center based out of an academic primary care practice
• Treat medically complex patients with new complaints and exacerbations of chronic disease with the resources of a qua ternary hospital including EPIC EMR, availability of subspecialty consultation, real-time laboratory testing and access to advanced imaging. No primary care responsibility
• Shift-based work with coverage on days off
• Access and protected time to attend weekly medicine grand rounds with CME
• Opportunities for medical student and resident education if desired
• No night call and no more than 1 weekend/month

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligibility for or current licensure in Massachusetts
• Experience working with Advanced Practice Provider colleagues

Conveniently located in Burlington, Massachusetts, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is 17 miles north of Boston and a short drive to the mountains, lakes and seaside of New England as well as cultural opportunities of Boston.
