Job Title: Roofing Safety Manager

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $100K - $130K + Benefits

Position Overview:

One of our great commercial roofing contractor clients is looking to hire a skilled safety manager in the Loveland/Berthoud area. The Commercial Roofing Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs for all commercial roofing projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to employees at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, supervisors, and field personnel on safety-related matters, including hazard recognition, fall protection, equipment operation, and emergency response.

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, safety violations, and areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as necessary.

• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety into project planning, scheduling, and execution processes.

• Lead safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and other educational programs to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols and best practices.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop root cause analyses and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.

• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training activities, incident reports, and other safety-related documentation.

• Conduct regular safety meetings with management and field personnel to discuss safety performance, address concerns, and reinforce the importance of safety culture.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction safety management, with specific experience in commercial roofing highly preferred.

• OSHA 10 or 30-hour Construction Safety Certification required; OSHA 500 or equivalent preferred.

• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
