Bookkeeper

Authentic Drilling is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper in Kiowa, CO for immediate hire. At Authentic Drilling, we specialize in difficult access geotechnical, environmental, exploration and water well drilling services. As we specialize in difficult projects, significant attention to detail is paramount. By leveraging our management team's extensive experience, we can foresee potential obstacles, control costs and provide alternative options. The ideal candidate will be proficient in double entry bookkeeping principles and practices.

• Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely processing of payroll and related tax filings (Including Pay Use & state
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer account management.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed financial analysis.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.

• Expert Level in Quick Books and Excel is highly desirable.
• Payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and governmental accounting standards.
• Experience with bank reconciliation processes and managing accounts receivable functions.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with management, clients, and external auditors.
