Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

This position will work closely with company managers along with vendors and customers. The role reports directly to the company Controller. The finance team requires assistance with daily workflow tasks and needs that may include daily data management and input, and organization of data files related to customer and vendor accounts, accounts payable, and asset tracking.

• Assisting the finance team with daily workflow tasks and needs that may include:
• Daily data management and input
• Organization of data files related to customer and vendor accounts
• Accounts Payable
• Asset Tracking
• Miscellaneous administration duties

• Previous Accounting, AP experience
• Excellent relationship building skills

  Quick Books (QB), Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, efficiently and effectively prioritize activities
• Evaluate existing processes; identify improvements and implement improved methods
• Strong work ethic

• The compensation for this position is highly competitive and includes a comprehensive benefits plan with a matching 401k.
• Quick Books or familiar accounting software knowledge and experience is mandatory
• AP: 1 year
• Excel: 1 year
• General Ledger
• Asset Tracking (preferred)
• Education:
  
  Associates Degree preferred.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
