Senior Accountant

Pay Rate: $95k-110k (dependent on experience)
Location: Hudson, Co. On-site preferred

A high-growth manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support audit preparation ahead of a scheduled March audit. This role is critical in ensuring the books are clean, schedules are audit-ready, and documentation aligns with technical accounting standards. This Senior Accountant role is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional with strong audit exposure who thrives in fast-paced environments.

• Clean up and prepare general ledger and supporting schedules in advance of audit

• Ensure balances, reconciliations, and documentation are audit-ready

• Prepare and organize audit schedules, work papers, and supporting documentation

• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve accounting gaps or inconsistencies

• Support external auditors and respond to audit requests efficiently

• Apply technical accounting knowledge to ensure compliance with GAAP

• Assist with process improvements related to audit readiness and financial reporting

• Senior Accountant level accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth manufacturing environment

• Large publicly traded company audit experience strongly preferred

• Experience participating in 5+ audits as a primary accounting contact

• Strong technical accounting background and understanding of GAAP

• Proven ability to clean up books and prepare audit-ready schedules under tight deadlines

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
