Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $115,000 to $130,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional client service with urgency, accuracy, and clear communication
- Oversee onboarding of new clients and manage initial clean-up of financial records
- Provide controller-level or CFO advisory services, particularly for non-profit organizations
- Review financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and depreciation schedules
- Supervise and guide engagement teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
- 7+ years of accounting experience and 3+ years in public accounting
- Show experience managing or supervising accounting teams in a professional setting
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to present actionable financial insights
- Bring a background in non-profit accounting and board-level experience is preferred
- Hold a degree in accounting or a related field; CPA license is preferred or in progress
- Exhibit proficiency in Quick Books and other relevant platforms such as Karbon, Gusto, ADP, and
- Apply advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Outlook to support accounting functions
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Uphold high ethical standards and maintain professionalism in all interactions
