Warehouse Package Handler

Overview

• Address: 4510 Edison Avenue #199, Colorado Springs, CO 80915
• Shift: Days are Monday-Saturday, hours are as follows:
  Monday 9:00am-1:00pm;
  Tuesday-Friday 10:00am-1:00pm;
  Saturday 12:30pm-2:00pm

Start and end times fluctuate depending on the needs of the business.

• Hourly Rate starting at $16.00/hr with WEEKLY pay

• Unload trailers and sort packages by zip codes
• Load trucks for deliveries

• Ability to stay on your feet while working – this is a great job for someone looking to stay active
• Ability to be dependable, flexible, and reliable
• Ability to Regularly lift, push, pull 25-35 lbs; occasionally carry up to 50 lbs and occasionally push or pull up to 150 lbs using a pallet jack or gaylords to transport large packages
• Ability to work in the heat and the cold as temperatures vary in the warehouse by season
• Gloves and work boots are recommended

• Ability to read and speak English
• Prior warehouse work or package handling experience preferred but NOT required
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move items averaging 25 lbs; some packages are up to 50-75 lbs. Ability to provide the required IDs to complete an I-9 form:
  List of acceptable I-9 IDs
• Be 18 years or older

• Be safe, safety is our first core value
• Unload trucks and sort packages by their delivery ZIP Code
• Inspect packages to make sure they are safe for truck transportation
• Be a team player—everyone works together to keep the "On Time for Less" promise to our shippers
• Regularly lift, push, pull and move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds

• $.50 pay increases every 6 months for the first two years
