Overview
As a Software Developer on an Internal Research and Development (IRAD) team, you will work in a collaborative environment to understand system requirements, create and implement new capabilities and algorithms. The team focuses on mathematics and physics-intensive complex solutions that are highly critical to system performance. In addition to software development, you will support reviews of requirements and test cases developed for the software capability.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the team to understand system requirements.
- Create and implement new capabilities and algorithms.
- Develop mathematics and physics-intensive complex solutions.
- Support reviews of requirements and test cases for software capabilities.
- Proficiency in C++ or Java.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Experience with MATLAB or Python.
- Experience with Linux operating system.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automated testing.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree with 5 years of professional experience.
- Experience with automated testing of software.
- Knowledge of tools like the person or Cucumber for automated testing.
- Experience with static and dynamic code analysis tools such as Fortify, Sonar Qube, or Coverity.
The position is onsite in Southeast Colorado Springs. The role involves internal research and development work, offering opportunities for innovation and contribution to new projects.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $64.00/hr.
