The X-Lab Software Engineer will support the C2

BMC program and will primarily be responsible for working as a mid-level member of the X-Lab software development team to develop and test innovative solutions in support of X-Lab projects and experiments. Location Colorado Springs, CO (Schriever SFB) This position is located full-time on site at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) located on Schriever SFB, CO, and is not a remote work position.

BMC X-Lab) is a very fast paced and dynamic environment. The X-Lab is responsible for developing and integrating future-capability prototypes for the Missile Defense System, including Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development and other critical leading-edge missile defense technologies. The Software Engineer's primary responsibility is to work as a mid-level member of the X-Lab software development team to develop and test innovative solutions in support of X-Lab projects and experiments.

What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years' experience, or a Master's Degree and 3+ years' experience.
* Active Secret clearance required to start.
* IAT Level II Cert (Security+ or equivalent) required to start.
* Experience with Java and spring framework.
* Operating systems experience with Windows & Unix/Linux.
* Experience with the following:
Eclipse IDE, Maven, and Git/Git Lab, Python, Ansible.
* Experience in the use of software test and analysis tools.
* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Full-cycle software engineering of new capabilities.
* Basic Systems Engineering understanding to drive software design.
* Software development with Java (or other object-oriented language).
* Object-Oriented development principles and patterns.
* Generate detailed and repeatable tests.
* Must possess an understanding of Agile software development processes and principles and be able to communicate the desired capabilities to a diverse group of developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and system users.
* Should be comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, design challenges that require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines.
* Application deployment, integration, and troubleshooting. Preferred
