Lube Technician​/Assistant Mechanic

Position Overview

Markit! Forestry Management is hiring a Lube Technician/Assistant Mechanic for our location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a fantastic opportunity for a current student or recent Diesel Mechanic graduate.

Based on experience and qualifications, up to $32.00 per hour.

Perform services and preventative maintenance on company trucks and equipment, assist mechanics in the maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment, parts and supply ordering, equipment transport, equipment pressure washing, pickup and delivery and general shop labor.

• Perform services and preventative maintenance on company trucks and equipment.
• Assist mechanics with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with applicable Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) technical manuals.
• Assist with performing repairs on inoperable equipment.
• Order parts and supplies by using manuals and catalogs.
• Pickup and delivery of parts and supplies.
• Equipment transport and washing equipment.
• General shop assistance.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Driver License with reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the SW US, some overnight travel may be required.
• Good attitude, coachable, reliable and dependable.
