To excel as a Certified Ford Service Technician at Ford of Motor City, you'll need a blend of practical experience and specialized skills. A minimum of two to four years in a related field or equivalent education is essential. You'll also be adept at using various software and tools crucial for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Strong language skills are vital, enabling you to read and interpret safety documents, manuals, and reports while effectively communicating with team members and customers.
