We are currently hiring an Excavation Helper to join our team. We would love to schedule an initial phone interview with you. If there is mutual interest, we will bring you in to meet our management team and have an in-person interview. Primary

Responsibilities Include:

* Assist excavation crew with digging, grading, trenching, and back filling tasks

* Prepare, clear, and clean job sites before and after excavation

* Set up safety barriers, warning signs, and other site safety measures

* Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment

* Assist with drainage systems, pipe installation, or utility locating as needed

* Consistently meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, or monthly performance goals

* Fulfill on-call duties according to the department need

* Provide professional and courteous customer service

Requirements

* Previous construction or excavation experience preferred

* Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions

* Good character and ability to work with a team and our customers

* Willingness to work in trenches, confined spaces, or uneven terrain

* Basic understanding of safety practices and willingness to wear PPE

* Valid driver's license and clean driving record

* Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor

* Ability to work as part of a team and take direction

* Neat, clean and organized

* Great work ethic
