Citadel Security USA is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer to support retail security operations at an outdoor shopping property in Colorado Springs. This position is well suited for candidates who want steady part-time hours, enjoy active foot patrol work, and can maintain a strong security presence in a high-traffic retail environment. Hours may vary on holiday weekends due to site needs.

As a security officer in this role, you will work outdoors for the duration of each shift and help maintain safety across parking lot areas through visibility, communication, and consistent patrols.

• Conduct outdoor foot patrols to support parking lot safety and deter unwanted activity
• Respond to occasional calls for service and assist site management as needed
• Identify and report safety concerns, hazards, and actionable items
• Professionally engage with individuals when required to escort them off the property
• Scan NFC tags along patrol routes for accountability and documentation
• Maintain awareness and reliability in a fully outdoor security post

• Ability to obtain a Colorado Guard Card; current card preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional presence and the ability to de-escalate when necessary
• Meets all state requirements for unarmed security licensing
