Overview
North American Truck & Trailer is seeking a dynamic Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive parts, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. The role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting products, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain relationships with automotive repair shops, dealerships, and other potential clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and product information.
- Promote and sell a wide range of outside parts, including but not limited to headlights, tires, wheels, brake kits, and custom grilles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new product releases to effectively communicate features and benefits.
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and stay informed about competitors.
- Analyze customer needs and provide feedback to the product development team.
- Stay knowledgeable about the features and specifications of the products being sold.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to clients in selecting the right parts for their needs.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, leads, and sales transactions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer support, to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in automotive parts or a related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and the ability to provide technical information.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
