Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Overview

Merchandise and Stocking Associate at Sam's Club. This role focuses on keeping shelves neat and organized, assisting members, moving inventory, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and stocking shelves. The position can be physically demanding and is fast-paced, with opportunities to join a great team focused on helping members find what they love.

$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

• Promptly unload trucks and stock merchandise on shelves and in the backroom
• Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Ensure a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Maintain merchandise presentation and proper pricing according to company policies
• Support club pick up orders, including picking and staging per policy
• Provide member service by identifying needs, guiding with self-service technology, and aiding purchasing decisions
• Keep safety and sanitation standards, conduct safety sweeps, and report unsafe conditions

• Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying needs
• Assist with locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services
• Maintain floor presence and merchandise rotation, including displays and signing/price accuracy
• Monitor product quality, ensure proper dating, recalls, and sanitation standards
• Follow company policies and ethics standards, and communicate progress and improvements
• Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners
