Hero Practice Services is seeking a Care Scheduling Coordinator to convert calls to appointments through a high-quality and compassionate educational experience in support of our patients’ overall health. The Opportunity

This role has the unique opportunity to support the Heroes who actively serve the children and young people in our communities by improving their overall health and well-being.

You Will Be Responsible For
  • Taking incoming calls to schedule appointments requested and agreed to by the patient or responsible party
  • Place outbound calls to schedule missed or past due appointments
  • Place outbound reminder and confirmation calls for appointments on the schedule
  • Demonstrate active listening and empathy on every call
  • Resolve customer support problems
  • Schedule appointments for all patient services
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook)
You Will Be Required To Possess
  • Hold a High School diploma or GED
  • Type 30 words per minute minimum
  • Computer experience to include using dual monitors and moving between multiple programs
  • Call Center experience (minimum of one year preferred)
  • Stable work history and good attendance
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth
