Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Level: 5–7 years QA/QC exp. + 2 years of leadership experience
Role OverviewSkyline Products is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our QA operations and ensure compliance across all manufacturing processes—from PCB assembly to precision sheet metal fabrication. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining ISO 9001 and UL certification standards, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement throughout production. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with proven leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence in high-reliability electronics.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily quality control operations, including inspection, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Oversee the inspection of PCBs, electronic assemblies, and precision sheet metal components.
- Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001 and UL requirements.
- Manage UL certification processes (UL 94, UL 508A, etc.) and ensure full audit readiness.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Track, analyze, and report key metrics such as yield, defect rates, and customer returns.
- Mentor and coach QA team members to foster a culture of quality ownership and accountability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address quality issues and streamline processes.
- Participate in vendor qualification and supplier performance evaluations.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in electronics or PCBA manufacturing.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems, UL certifications (UL 94, UL 508A), and RoHS compliance.
- Experience with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600) and precision inspection methods.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with proven success in process improvement.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering-related discipline.
- CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) or similar certification.
- Proficiency with ERP and QMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- ERP/QMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Precision measuring equipment and digital inspection tools.
- Starting salary is based on experience – $ and up.
