Presbyterian Rust Medical Center ASC is hiring a PRN OR Registered Nurse

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at USPI Presbyterian Rust Surgery Center

Presbyterian Rust Surgery Center is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable

Responsibilities
  • Position the patient for surgery and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.
  • Prepping the patient for the surgical case and assisting the surgical team as needed.
  • Circulate the case during surgery, addressing needs of the patient and the team.
  • Demonstrate clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities as applicable.

    Qualifications
    • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
    • Current RN state license.
    • CPR required, advanced life support certification required.
    • One-year experience required intra-operative setting.
    • Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
    • Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
