Registered Nurse

Overview

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to inpatients. This position assesses patients and creates a plan of care that is individualized and reflective of each patient s needs and goals. The Registered Nurse supervises activities of care, treatment and services of patient provided by LPN/LVNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff on the assigned unit and shift. This position communicates information with the interdisciplinary team and reports patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner.

Base pay range: $39.00/hr - $50.00/hr

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients and develop individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and goals.
• Supervise activities of care, treatment, and services delivered by LPNs/LVNs, RNs, CNAs, and other staff on the unit and shift.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team and report patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner.

• Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Proficiency with English in oral and written communication.

• General office equipment (computer/laptop, telephone, copier/scanner, etc.).
• Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Visual acuity, speech recognition, and speech clarity.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing at least 30 pounds, including medical supplies and equipment, and to assist with patient transfer and repositioning. Reasonable assistance may be provided for heavier tasks.

• Indoor, temperature-controlled, smoke-free environment.
