A 300-bed Level II Trauma Center has partnered with Nealy Pierce to identify and hire a permanent Director of Nursing to lead a division of the Senior Services department. This award‑winning, non‑profit community hospital cares for some of the highest acuity patients in the state and is deeply rooted in Magnet principles and evidence‑based nursing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a DON who values community‑centered care, collaborative leadership, and organizational support.
We are seeking an experienced RN leader who embodies servant leadership, prioritizes quality and compassion, and is passionate about making an impact.
The Director of Nursing will oversee a 64‑bed Senior Services department, which includes a 32‑bed memory care unit and a 32‑bed long‑term care unit within a non‑profit health system. Reporting directly to the CNO—known for being supportive, collaborative, and highly invested in leadership development—this leader will manage daily operations, professional practice standards, staffing, and team development while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.

- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher is required
- Current RN licensure

- Experience in Med/Surg, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, or Assisted Living preferred
- CMSRN or GERO‑BC certifications are highly desirable, but not required
