Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team, providing patient-centered care in a combined Family Practice and Urgent Care setting. The ideal candidate will deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, as well as acute care for urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in patients across the lifespan

Provide urgent care services, including minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and wound care

Perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans

Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulatory standards

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education

Qualifications:

Current Physician Assistant license and certification

Valid state RN and APRN licensure

BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in family practice and/or urgent care preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Work Schedule:

Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Rotating shifts between family practice and urgent care
