Process Specialist

Overview

As a Process Specialist, you will monitor, operate, and program semiconductor manufacturing equipment inside a cleanroom wafer fab environment. You will support both production and engineering teams, assist with yield investigations, perform data collection, and help drive continuous improvement across multiple process areas. Pay: $22–$26/hr (based on experience and shift)

Shift: 7:00PM - 7:00AM

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

• Monitor and operate cleanroom wafer fab equipment in accordance with operating procedures.
• Program tools to run processes for engineering tests and experiments.
• Work closely with production teams to improve manufacturing and engineering processes.
• Respond to tool alarms and determine root cause to ensure successful processing.
• Disposition non‑conforming materials according to guidelines.
• Assist with engineering tests throughout all process steps.
• Support low‑yield investigations to identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Document routine practices and update procedures as process improvements are made.
• Compile processing data and generate standardized reports for technicians and engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement projects with engineering support.
• Maintain and improve a 6S (5S + Safety) cleanroom environment.
• Train operators on standard operations across multiple process steps.
• Assist Process and R&D Engineers with evaluations, troubleshooting, and equipment/process issues.

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operating, semiconductor, or cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow detailed operating procedures and documentation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with technical equipment.
• Ability to stand/walk for 12‑hour shifts in a cleanroom environment.
• Cleanroom experience preferred but not required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
