- As a Test / Assembler I, you will be at the forefront of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and fabrication operations. You will take on a comprehensive range of tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency in both standard and non-standard environments. Your expertise will drive the continuous flow of work, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety and performance standards.
- Under direct supervision, assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer order.
- Perform routine and standard tasks with minimal assistance.
- Read and assemble per standard work or blueprint instructions, with some guidance.
- May track and receive the required parts for the product area. Check stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts and fasteners for the particular work order. Contact the material handler or Lead if shortages exist or incorrect parts are in bins.
- Participate in all team stand-ups and use safe ergonomic practices in performing the job.
- May pack finished product into designated carton.
- Participate in EHS risk reduction activities.
- May perform other job duties as required and be available for overtime as necessary.
- Qualification You Must Have: Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
