Sewing Machine Operator

Learn new skills while you manufacture exciting products for America’s hardest working dogs at Ray Allen Manufacturing, LLC. We’ve been engineering tactical and working gear for police, military, and dog training professionals for over 74 years in Colorado Springs. We have an immediate opening for the right person in our light manufacturing department. This is an entry level position with varying duties but will mainly focus on sewing and assembling products (experience not required, we will train the right individual).

Full-time;
Hourly up to 40 hours per week.

Compensation Based on Experience.

Shift

Hours:

6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday

Optional Evening Shift

Hours:

3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday to Friday

• Operate equipment related to cut and sew operations
• Operate related power/hand tools
• Assemble, label and package products
• Maintain materials and supplies in the work area
• Maintain work area keeping it organized and clean
• Follow safe work practices and company policies
• Other duties as assigned

• Dependable, reliable and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate the ability to read a tape measure and do basic math equations
• Demonstrate safe practices and an aptitude for working with power tools
• Able to interact positively with peers and supervisors
• Demonstrate excellent follow through and attention to detail
• Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time doing repetitive work
• Must be able to pass a background check
