Position OverviewAs a Pool Maintenance Technician and General Maintenance Engineer, you will assist in providing guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where everyone is connected by care and inclusivity.
Job Functions & Responsibilities- Performs water quality testing and maintains an appropriate balance of chemicals in the water.
- CPO certification preferred.
- Typical tasks include pressure washing pool decks, maintaining pool equipment, adjusting lighting and cleaning pool furniture.
- Cleans pool tiles and features, backwash filters, inspect and repair furniture and safety equipment.
- Meets with vendors, receives supplies, performs other general maintenance on the pool, and performs other duties as requested.
- Maintains chemical and testing supplies inventory.
- Completes safety training and certifications.
- Regularly cares for pools, ponds, and water features including cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming of water.
- General Maintenance engineering duties include attending to requests from the club level team and engineering work orders for all club level buildings, including drywall patch and paint, lighting and lighting repair, plumbing and restroom fixture repairs, flooring and carpentry when needed.
- Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs.
- Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
- Contributes to team goals.
- Always follows company policies and safety procedures.
- As general maintenance engineer, supports engineering team with various tasks including attending to guest requests when needed.
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and Saturdays.
- Be able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Lift/Carry/Push/Pull items that weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance.
