A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Facilities Technician
.

Position Type: Full Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 6-12 months

Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80916

Role Overview: As a Facilities Technician
, you will:

• Responsible for maintenance and repair of facility structure, equipment, and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Perform trades work such as carpentry or painting in construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
• Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
• Have knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications.
• Have general strong trade experience and knowledge.
• Have basic PC / Microsoft Office skills; navigate email/timecards and use software for work orders, emails, etc.
• Follow EHS policies and procedures.
• Be a licensed electrical journeyman.
• Have strong mechanical aptitude and overall competence as a handyperson, proficient in Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out (LO/TO) procedures.
• Meet physical requirements including climbing ladders and extended standing or walking outdoors and indoors.

Ideal Candidate: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post‑secondary/Associate’s Degree with 0–2 years of prior related experience.

Pay Range: $35–$38 per hour.
