We are seeking a seasoned Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is a permanent position that will focus on all aspects of Family Law. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for family law and a drive to make a real difference in clients lives. This position requires a deep understanding of family law, including custody, divorce, child custody, and spousal support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a heavy case load, daily court appearances, client communication, drafting of legal documents, negotiations, and mediations.
- Provide sound counsel, guidance, and representation in a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and more.
- Manage all aspects of family law litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents to ensure they are legally sound and align with the client s goals.
- Attend court proceedings and effectively represent clients, presenting evidence and arguments as necessary.
- Develop and implement family law strategies with an eye toward favorable outcomes for our clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about their case and legal rights.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law, court rules, evidence rules, and procedures, and share this knowledge with the team to ensure best practices are followed.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in family law, with a focus on divorce, child custody, and spousal support.
- Proven track record in court with strong litigation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in mediation and negotiation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable way for clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.
