Harris Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to technical edit, format and stage complex document sets with strategic importance to the SS&I Division. The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring version control of documentation and providing training and collaboration to cross‑functional teams throughout the proposal development process. Additionally, the Project Management Specialist will manage SharePoint, create proposal work spaces, provide metrics to leadership, and develop templates.

The Project Management Specialist will also provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within their job area.

Essential Functions
  • Manage projects or processes with general oversight
  • Responsible for ensuring high‑quality program documentation by performing technical editing utilizing all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and free of errors, including consistency in tense and format of products
  • Create locked down working templates for cross functional stakeholders using the Microsoft Office Suite of Applications
  • Communicate with Compliance colleagues on determination of sensitive information and ensure documentation is marked accordingly
  • Develop and implement DM processes
  • Establish review delivery dates and coordinate with Contracts and Finance for delivery of documents
  • Provide delivery metrics to leadership standup meetings, weekly staff meetings, SharePoint dashboard and/or other tools
  • Understand basic principles of cost accounting and internal accounts
  • Setup proposal SharePoint work spaces and stage with current templates and historical information (as applicable)
  • Communicate with contacts within and outside of own department to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures
  • Create presentations and brief leadership on current team initiatives
  • Make moderate improvements to systems and processes
  • Lead the completion of specific programs and projects with influence on the overall objective on the project
  • Demonstrate the highest level of personal integrity, professionalism, and work ethic
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to internal customers
  • Exhibit meticulous task management and ability to manage schedules
  • Adapt easily to changing environments and multiple competing demands
  • Work comfortably both as an individual and in group settings, interacting with all levels of management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience;
    Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience;
    Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Visible Thread or similar AI tools
  • Preferred proposal experience
  • Knowledge and experience working with CUI documents or proprietary documents
  • Knowledge and experience with Share Point
  • Experience working in a Classified environment
  • Ability to learn SW tools and develop expertise
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Share Point
  • Excellent communication, judgment/problem‑solving, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Well‑organized, resourceful, and a multi‑tasker with strong attention to detail
