Technical Manual Writer - DoD

INNOVIM is seeking a Technical Manual Writer to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).

Location:
Colorado Springs, CO

The candidate will:

• Prepare, coordinate, and consolidate artifacts IAW DoD/DID standards and/or corporate templates and requirements for review
• Participates in planning and creation of artifacts (both internal and CDRL based; templates and content)
• Coordinate and participate in review, publication, and delivery of artifacts
• Attend and participate in periodic large scale agile and waterfall planning events

The successful candidate will:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Adept at organization, coordination, and integration of content from various stakeholders

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 4 years of directly related experience in technical writing
• Must have experience editing documents.
• Must have experience with the following software including:
  Frame Maker, Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, PowerPoint, and Share Point
• Must have experience with ownership of assigned documents and artifacts from beginning to end
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Requirements:

• Have experience in production and delivery of documents and artifacts IAW DoD/DID standards and/or corporate templates and requirements
• Have experience working on NISSC II Products/Applications
• Have knowledge of SGML editing software, such as PTC Arbortext or Adobe Frame Maker
