Location: Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, CO

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 / hour

Type: Full-time / Non-Exempt / On-Site (no remote work available)

GStek is seeking qualified applicants for full-time Desktop Support Specialist openings to provide support at our Fort Carson location.

• U.S. Citizen
• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum of 3 years Help Desk support experience.
• Minimum of 3 years IT support working within a government Facility
• Minimum of 1 Year working within an Army Network Enterprise Center environment.
• Must possess one or more of the following: GSEC, Security +CE, SSCP and/or CCNA-Security.
• Experienced with NETCOM, ARCYBER and OPORD requirements within a Helpdesk environment.

• Training or Certification in Microsoft Windows 11 or Microsoft INTUNE Endpoint Management

• Provide Tier II technical support to resolve software, hardware, and other related IT issues.
• Provide customer service and end-user assistance at the workstation, docking station, or other IT assets and resolve any hardware or software issues that may be present.
• Complete and/or resolve the moving/relocation of IT assets and resolve any issues that may result due to a relocation, change or deletion of IT assets such as printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Account management through active directory.
• Computer imaging.

• Performance of essential and ancillary functions may require:
  Bending, stooping, and walking.
• Sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Requires near vision acuity to review written documentation.
• Ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone.
• Manual dexterity to operate a telephone and keyboard.
• Ability to lift horizontally and vertically.

Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Hire dates are dependent upon the issuance of an interim or final government security clearance.
