The Junior Software Developer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Perform application development supporting total lifecycle management and operations utilizing Kinetic platform.
• Plan, test and implement major upgrades.
• Perform local customizations and system enhancements necessary to meet business needs.
• Work with a team of experienced software engineers to automate business processes and perform Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on existing applications.
• Perform daily system checks, application configurations, vendor updates, respond to customer requests and ensure security best practices and compliance with Information Assurance standards.
• Interface with other team members to ensure cross-platform compatibility and standardization.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have 6, or more, months of directly related experience.
• Must have knowledge of Kinetic Platform.
• Must have, or obtain, a current DoD 8570 Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ CE or higher.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

This position is expected to pay $36.05/hr – $48.07/hr; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
