SalarySalary: $81, per year
Requirements- Active Secret clearance is required.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship, due to agency and contract requirements.
- This position supports systems requiring 24x7x365 uptime, and candidates must be willing to participate in a rotational on-call schedule.
- Candidates must reside within a commutable distance to work onsite at the customer s discretion, particularly during the transition period. This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience working as a system administrator on Linux or Red Hat systems is required. Related experience may be acceptable.
- Administer and maintain the RHEL-based server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and patch management.
- Work on RHEL 7.x/8.x, performing system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform system backups and recovery processes to ensure high availability and data protection.
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business requirements and enhance the RHEL server environment.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform vulnerability scans using common scanning tools such as Tenable and Hp Web Inspect.
- Investigate security breaches, risks, and attacks, create mitigation plans, and implement proactive and retrospective solutions.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $81,000 to $120,000, and we will ensure compliance with applicable wage regulations.
